Being continuously involved in academics for 17-18 years, we as students just hope to get away of this routine and start fresh in life with a highly satisfying and lucrative job offer. It is only after getting a job we realize that the passed phase was the golden moment of our life. Like most of the students, I was also very delighted on completing my b.tech in electronics, as I thought that a brilliant career is waiting on my way. However, soon I realized that getting a good job is not so easy and I have to polish my knowledge and practical skills in order to grab a dream job.

After facing some of the job interviews, I realized that at engineering college we are imparted with the theoretical knowledge more and we greatly lack on practical training. Although, practical training are involved but it is not enough to acquire the skills required for a rewarding career in prestigious organisations. Then instead of wasting my times on some ordinary job offer, I thought to hone my skills in latest technology of electronics stream so that I can at least get considered for the interview round in good organisation.

In my endeavour of undergoing training on embedded system technology, I can across Vector India in Bangalore that imparts training on embedded and VLSI technology. It was hard to decide based on the reviews posted on several website, so I decided to personally visit the institute and gather vital information myself. During my visit to the institute, I talked with few of the students already enrolled at the institute to get their feedback. I started jotted down the positive as well as negative comments given by the different students so that these can help me take sound decision at the end.

I even had words with their faculty and management team to have a glimpse of their teaching methodologies and infrastructure. After going through all the vital factors, I concluded that joining the institute would not be a wrong decision. Therefore, I joined the Vector Institute Bangalore branch and started my embedded system training. I did not realize when my entire training was completed in a smooth manner. The biggest surprise was still waiting for me, as I was successfully placed in SONY R&D. Vector India plays a great role in shaping my career as well as providing me entry in a prestigious organisation.
